Bone find in Feral Beast's dig

As I'm such a horrid mother I sent FB out to extend his trench/ hole in the ground.
In the tailings he found this bone shard.

Haven't cleaned it up yet but it has the suspicious shape and marks of a small skull.
Human or not?
No idea.
Will be gathering his many bone finds and trotting in to the Melbourne Museum this week to either bore the pants off the archaeologists or have my vegie patch declared a burial site.

That is so incredibly exciting and cool.

It makes me want to go dig up our backyard.

We'll probably just find worms. Hey, but I guess worms are cool.

Looks like part of the missing link to me, or as we call him in Britain, Gordon Brown.

Awesome find. Let us know what it is. Reminds me of the time we found bones in our backyard - turned out to be a cat, so not very exciting

Are you sure that you didn't bury the mother in law in the garden?

At the back of our swimming pool I came across a plastic container. I thought it might be a sewer access point. Turns out it was a pet cemetry and that was one of the coffins. Yuck.

Worms rock, too Dina :)

I will, Jess :)

I see your Gordon Brown, Brian, and raise you (insert any politician's name here) :P

LOL Gem and Colin.
He's already found a dog someone buried 6 feet down on a previous dig in the backyard. We had to keep excavating into the evening just to rule out that it wasn't a human lol.

I'd love to say she was in the ground, Colin, but alas she's off tormenting a small rural community somewhere...;)
