Blah, blah, blah, Australia, You're standing in it....

...no, seriously you're standing in a pile of whoopsie Brumby left as a calling card...

Oh, our State Labor Party - currently the incumbent govt - has almost guaranteed the opposition will get across the line in the next election without having to lift a finger.
Why?
Because they 'borrow' water from the drought stricken rural areas to flush dunnys in Melb.

Because they 'borrow' water from...oh, same thing, just another way to screw people for it.

Not satisfied with stealing our State-wide Show Day holiday, they've put the pinch on shires to lose their own Show Days, too.

Building projects are roaring ahead...only if Jussy-baby thinks you deserve it.

And many other acts of stupidity that generally piss off everyone with a grain of commonsense but sadly they haven't got an ear to bend in Parliament.
Better start packing your office up, John-boy.

1888 The first national Kiwi Rugby Team to wear the silver fern played their first match in The Old Dart, intriguing the spectators with the Haka and trouncing the opposition 4-1.

1919 The Dominion Stores chain of grocery stores was birthed in Ontario on this date.

1927 Canadian Prime Minister King dialed the first transatlantic phone call to natter away to Brit PM Baldwin.
Although history fails to tell us exactly what was said, a certain recipe for rather sweet drop scones is rumoured to have been shared across the wires.

2009 All the good little Kiwi's in the Shaky Isles woke up 3 hours ahead of us this morning, just like they've been doing for the past 2 weeks.
But not after Saturday night/Sunday morning when most of Oz "Springs forward" with Daylight Savings Time...then we'll trail NZ by a mere 2 hours.

Kennett took away our Showday holiday. Of course country must forfeit too. Has Labor restored the holiday? No! Will the Liberals bring it back? No! I am afraid Showday is history.

Perhaps Brumby needs some of what Rann got.

Well, if the country have no holiday for their shows they end up with no shows.
I say it's time to get all our show days back!

He looked like he'd been in a bar brawl, Colin, not walloped with a rolled up magazine LOL.

I still say building a bridge to NZ is easier than peering across the ditch, Lisa lol.

Yeah -- but then there'd be all the arguments over who would run the concessions on the way ... and which currency to use ...

Oh, easy, Lisa, we could always sort that out with a season of rugby...cricket...Aussie Rules...winner gets the trade and currency lol.

Morning shifts used to suck my brain out of my ear, too, Cazzie.
Most uncomfortable!
