Kangaroo Apple flower.
The ripe (bright orange) fruit is said to be delish but you'd have to ask our possum mafia about that!

Your Kangaroo Apple is closely related to our Solanum aviculare- which we kind of tend to pull out as it is poisonous. But I see from this European site they cultivate it!! http://www.gardening.eu/plants/Shrubs/Solanum-aviculare/3623/

Went on a native bush tucker walk last year and the guide said scientists found the unripe fruit to be very effective as a contraceptive, but that the ripe (bright orange) fruit was safer to eat and held little contraceptive properties.
