Sadly, Warrant Officer Class 2, Kevin Conway became the first Australian to die due to enemy action in South Vietnam, dueing the Vietnam War.

Mrs. Pattie Deakin rocked up for her second stint as The Power Behind The Throne when the little man, Alfred Deakin, got to play at running the country again.

The Advertiser announced that the lovely old trolley buses of Adelaide would run for the last time on Friday 12th July.

I vaguely remember the old trolley buses. Very vaguely. We left Adelaide for Port Pirie in 1957.
